Good mornings from Paradise

   Good morning Sun!

Good morning from the part of the world where sun shines brighter all year long and you can feel like your life its a continuous holiday.
Long days of beach, sun, ocean, relax and nights of fun, long walks and great dinners seem to take me to another reality, where there is only summer, sand, beach and  happy people. All together just screams: Vacation !!!

Sun is shining so bright and warms so strong here, putting it's print of summer on thirsty bodies that craved for sun and vacation the entire year. Golden / brownish colors soaked by the sun, and chilled by the azure water, stunning views that are taking your breath away, streets crowded with people, singing, dancing and shopping, food absolutely delicious and  drinks that are so refreshing and seem to give life even from one sip, cooling down the heat, are the details that describe the Amazing Algarve, Portugal. The beaches are full of colors, the bikinis make a match with the vibrant color of Bougainville flowers that are so beautiful, each time i see one I'm like; "Woowww":) The streets are shrouded by great aromas of fresh food where people from all over the world are exploring and enjoying this little Paradise.
The ocean and beach is calling you back everyday "stay more, stay more" to see the beauty and enjoy the waves, breeze, sand and sun. The little cities like Alvor, Albufeira, Portimao have a special charm that convince you that the days you stay are not enough to discover all the treasures they have to delight you with.
This place has a special magic. I don't know if its cause of the the beaches with rocks and caves that are marvelous or if its the color of the water, or if its the amazing spirit that you can find everyday in this astonishing place. What i know is that everyday you gotta enjoy it to the max, as life would be a continuous vacation in Paradise, cause when you are in places like this, all you can dream about is to be Endless.
And for those who didn't visit this part of the world yet, plan it fast. You won't regret it.

Under the sun..

Helllo sunshine people!

First day of my "out of town" escape. Started with 31 degrees at 9 AM, pretty awesome for a Dubliner used to 12/14/18 degrees Maximum.
Well, I'm always happy to be in the sun and cannot complain about the temperature, it's freaking awesome. The city always welcomes us with a big smile and shiny Rays, warming us and our souls up. :)
I'm officially in my summer vacation, together with beautiful and dear people and I'm ready for the adventures of the next days. Beautiful weather, stunning nature around, warm breeze, super great company and more days to come.
I'm happy. Where are you going this summer? I'll keep you posted with pics from my great experience.
Stay tuned...

Welcoming summer

Good morning from sunny Dublin.
Imagine that, when you're expecting the less summer days come in. It's already the 3rd day with sun and good weather so I really think this is the 1st week of the 2 that they have here in Ireland during the  whole season. I think today is the 1st day since I'm here with clear clear sky for a half a day already. Temperatures are not that high but at least the sun shines bright. I had a sleepless night but I caught a good morning and I decided to praise it with a good breakfast.

Have a good day everyone!

Discovering Ireland

I didn't write much until now about Dublin or Ireland. Well today i had a nice experience discovering the surroundings and things you can find outside the city center.

I was pleasantly surprised by the nature and views.Today i caught a great day, mostly sunny, temperature was not that high but according to Ireland this is summer so i can' t really complain as long as i didn't get any rain. :) This things are a blessing here, even during the summer. Of course i went prepared: shirt. jacket, scarf. a extra sweater in my backpack and an umbrella (Of course), as the weather can change to 180 degrees in 5 minutes, luckily i didn't need it.
Did a bit of hiking, got a great panoramic view over Bray, had some long nice walks, visited a Victorian Garden and i ended up back to the city center where in the Stephen's Green Park a few cute little miracles appeared :)
It turned out to be one of the great days with a evening with clear clear sky that its also a rarity here, yesterday i got an amazing sunset so ... not that bad these days. I'm still waiting for the real summer though. I wonder when it will come? They say at the end of June but let's see. In the meanwhile i'll share a bit of Ireland with you and i'll keep you posted with new pics!

Have a Good night or a Good morning!

XOXO

Breaking the Traditions

We all come from different countries that have their own culture, beauties, awkwardness and traditions. The question is how much people do care about traditions and respect them when it comes to apply them in their own life? How traditionalist each of us is?
We tend to think and say that we are so modern and so different from the older generations, that we are so open minded and we are opened to embrace the new, break all the borders, be international, take examples from others and be original, be creative and do things as we want. Because we are free and because we can.
Well when it comes to weddings or baby parties or any other party of this type, things seem to be stopped in another century for some of the people.

If you go a bit over the "normal" and "usual" you can be considered weird or with lack of respect for the "Tradition" and nation and great grandparents. Who says and where it is written that we have to follow the crowd? That limousines are a must for a wedding or the bouquet toss or  that if you don't follow the plan step by step, the wedding won't be a wedding anymore. Who says that fancy baby parties with people all dressed up posh and with all kind of show-off are a must? People spend tons of money to go fancy, they are so caught into this Hollywood non-reality that they even forget the real purpose of the gathering.

Of course if you step out of the "everybody does that" crowd people will comment and judge and try to give you advice on " how wrong it is not to follow the rules of how it should be, and how everybody does it and you should do the same". Yeah well, you cannot please everybody, but by the end that's the beauty of it, not being like everybody else, being special. Trust me, deep down some of the commentators will envy you for standing up for your ideas and for making something new.

I agree, traditions can be nice (some of them). They are a part of our culture, of who we are and represent the environment that we grew in, but some traditions are way too aged and with no sense, and they fairly are just needed to be let go.
I admit i'm not that traditional when it comes to this things and i will as well break them when it will come to parties that i'll have to make. I think it's normal to make for example your wedding or baby shower or baby party the way you want not the way others do. We have our own style, and since it's our event we can make our rules. It is allowed to bring something from other cultures, it's even necessary, if it's something beautiful, that can give happiness, that can help make our special day the way we dreamed. Because we can and because we are allowed. And those who won't like it, bad for them.

We have to create our own history, improve, change, become better, have something of our own. Traditions were created also by people so i think we all have the right of creating new ones.
But that's my opinion, like it or criticize it. By the end of the day i won't change the whole world, i just hope that the people that share the same ideas will make a difference and give an example of good "Different".
