Summer is by the corner and all of us start thinking about vacation, about beach, sun, sea...about days with nothing to do more than relaxing by the pool or beach, with worries just of which cocktail to choose: a Mojito, a Margarita or a Mai Tai, which bikini to put on today or what kind of food you want for dinner. "Today i definitely go for seafood :) yumm.." :)
Some of us choose further destinations, some prefer closer ones. The good thing is that anything you decide Europe, Asia , Australia , South America or North America, you will always find paradisiacal places to escape in your fairytale magic.
I put together a list of beaches on everyone's taste and distance wishes:
1. Sant Elm ( Mallorca, Spain)- located in the south west corner of Mallorca , Sant Elm has a separate beauty, having the mountains guarding it in the back and the turquoise waters cooling it in front, Sant Elm has the perfect scenery for a lazy summer vacation. Even though the town is calm and quite there is a variety of restaurants and bars of great quality where you can enjoy the tasty Spanish tapas and quality drinks during your stay.
2. Zlatni Rat Beach ( Croatia)- is one of the most beautiful beaches in Croatia. The shape of the beach is unique and sets a perfect picture for a postcard souvenir or for a wall-painting. Its the beach that is the most famous for windsurfing in Croatia. The beauty of the blue clear water is complemented by the pine forest that it brings shade to the burning sun.
3. Nissi Beach Cyprus - is a wonderful sandy beach in the area of Ayia Napa, Cyprus. It's a perfect beach for a summer escape, its white sand beach and the shallow waters are making you feel like in Paradise. You can easily relax on the beautiful beach, explore the surroundings, jump from the cliffs or bungee jump. It's the place where you can sit quietly and get your tan and sip on your drink or you can go visiting its nice gardens that are not far from the beach, eat good food, go for a foam party, best DJ party, where you can meet celebrities and have fun.One of the best place to party is called Nissi Bay Beach Bar where you can get all the fun.
4.Algarve (Portugal)- the most southern point of Portugal, Algarve is has the warmest beaches. Its the perfect place to eat the best seafood, fruit, experience amazing drinks and have fun.
5. Porto Santo Beach Madeira- absolutely fabulous beach of 9 km long with white sand, offers a marvelous picture to its visitors. Madeira is known as one of the best places for getaways. Its volcanic sands have curative powers and are also an attraction for tourists.
6. Palawan Philipines- Palawan in an island of Philippines that lies between South China Sea and Sulu Sea. With a endless ocean view, great nature around and warm breeze through your hair this could be the perfect picture for a unforgettable vacation. Its one of the few ecological areas left in there, with marvelous views that are still almost unexplored that keep the original tropical beauty. It has numerous stunning beaches with gorgeous corals, vegetation, perfect for scuba diving, in the crystal clear water and enjoy the heavenly beauty.
7. St Lucia, Carribean Islands- it's an island country based in the Carribean Sea with boundary to the Atlantic Ocean . Its known for its paradisiac beaches, the 2 mountains Piton, gorgeous reefs and waterfalls. Is a place with an exquisite culture and cuisine as the country has African, Indian, British, Caribbean, French and Spanish influences. So they have a big palette of cultural treasures and food delights. Great place for romantic escapes as well as family vacations.
8. Hawaii, USA- about Hawaii i couldn't write just about 1 island or one beach cause the place is real Paradise. Wherever you go, and which beach you would choose to go it will impress you to the limit. It's gorgeous, is warm, has good people, delicious food, awesome views. Its the perfect place for a vacation. I would encourage you to explore it.
9. Myrtos Beach, Kefalonia Greece and Stafilos Beach, Scopelos Greece- Myrthos is located on Kefalonia Island in the Pylaros region and it was voted 12 times the best beach in Greece, with a location between 2 mountains, Myrthos beach has a spectacular view, white smooth sands and the perfect location for a getaway.
Stafilos Beach- another beach with natural scenery, crystal clear water and untouched natural beauty. Located on the island of Scopelos, this beach can be a bit crowded in the high season but you will always find room for an umbrella and a chair to enjoy your time. its well organized and great for a day of sunbath.
10. Krabi, Phi phi, Puket, Thailand- three amazing places that definitely worth seeing if you are in Thailand. Based in the southern coast of Thailand, if you are looking for relaxed time, snorkeling in the blue-green water, swim with the fish, be surrounded by stunning mountains/cliffs, this is for sure the place to be. Don't miss it. You will love it.
11. Bali Indonesia- is just more than a beach destination. Bali is one of the most visited places for its natural beauty, sculpture, temples, art as well as for the plantation of rice and coffee.You can do sightseeing around the island, discover the culture and secrets of this island or relax at the beautiful beaches.One of the most known beaches there is Kuta.
12. Punta Cana, Bavaro Beach, Dominican Republic- this is one of the most visited beaches by the tourists. And has all the rights to be, a calm place with shiny sun, warm and clear water, restaurants, shopping places and hotels. You have everything here to make sure that your vacation will be a successful one.
