Experience of a Prawn Festival on the Dublin Bay

Hello sunshine people!!!

Most of you have a sunny day today! I do too. :D Yupiii!!!
I'll tell you about my experience that i had this weeekend. So, i heard that there will be a Prawn Festival in Howth, Dublin, outside the city and i thought to myself: "He he...this is my place to be, shrimp, , shrimp, shrimp, seafood, fun, close to the beach, Perfect!!!"  Well turned to be not so perfect at all. First of all was the weather, was sunny but by the time we arrived got kinda cloudy and when the sun goes away here, gets pretty chilly. But of course about that i can't argue with nobody :)
At first we entered a food market that seemed actually pretty nice, yummy stuff, but as we were heading to the Big Festival we decided not to eat anything lo leave space for the Seafood :)

This was the market, good stuff, affordable, then we moved to the actual festival.
I must say, that i was disappointed. First of all everything was sold on a token base not money, and each of them was 7 Euro ( Expensiveee!!!)
The tent where the food was, very small and totally not well organized. Huge queues, one entrance that served as an exit as well which made a big mess, people coming in and going out. Smoke...after somebody burned some food, it made impossible to stay in there. And then there was the food, small portions, really small and without flavor. The only thing i really liked was the Raw Oysters, mussels were with just too much cream, paella not cooked properly, the shrimp cones had just 5 shrimp in it and the rest was cabbage leaves.
I did go back to the market and i enjoyed a cone with Churros with chocolate that was tasty.
In the overall : Big disappointment!!! Do i recommend it? Not so much. :(

Was an experience, but i definitely don't go there again. Will wait patiently for my next event.
Meanwhile, enjoy your day and Eat well.

Kisses!!!
